Taming the Wild West

Even before the Continental American frontier was declared officially closed in 1900, Western Showmen like 'William F. Cody' were "re-creating" the "wild west" with traveling troupes of performers.  Since then, the old west heritage has enjoyed varying degrees of appeal to the rest of the world.  This appeal has never really disappeared.
Over the last 40 years ordinary folks dressed up and performed, live.  The Old West Gunfighter scenes, always a crowd pleaser, has flourished among dedicated groups across America who portray cowboy action shooting and acting scenes that would typify an event one would see in the latter part of the 19th Century in the Wild West.
There are still a few who follow this time honored tradition of bringing to the public, the color and flavor of a time gone by.  Constuming, accoutrements and even the pistols used during an event are either a well-preserved original artifact of that era, or an excellent reproduction.
Whether it is a dramatic recreation of an actual event, or a comedy skit, the re-inactors can bring crowd-pleasin', high-tension action to your event.
